Structure

Liferaft

General requirements for life raft
1,

to 30 days;

3, under

bottom of raft above at least 4.5m height repeated jumping board;

should be in the calm water to 3 kn speed to be towed.

support after raft landing and to surface of water, and rainwater collection

storage to the lightest seagoing waterline distance of 2 times or 15m,
whichever is the greater.

life raft should be equipped with requirement fittings;
8, the
life raft should also set free floating device.
The
storage of life raft should be able to manual release when the raft is free
from securing device. Each liferaft storage shall be provided free floating
device, so that each life raft free floating, and if is inflatable when sinking
ship can automatically inflate. There should be no deck covering above the
storage place of life raft, so as to avoid the free float of life raft when
ship is sinking.
Unless
certain transfer facilities are set up, the life raft should be kept in the
range of hook, and the arrangement should enable all passengers to board raft
quickly.
For
throwing outboard landing raft storage, should be able to easily transfer to
ship any shipboard landing, otherwise it should increase the total capacity per
port for use in accordance with the provisions.
